If you're getting ready to tie the knot, you might be trying to decide where to go for your honeymoon. There are so many options available that you may be feeling bewildered. But not to worry! We've done the work of finding the best honeymoon destinations for you - from a romantic cruise to Hawaii to an excitement packed theme park vacation in Florida. We polled over 300 newlyweds and found out where they went, what they did, and what they liked and disliked so that we could present to you our top five honeymoon destinations.
1. Cruise to Hawaii: this one is a no-brainer. If there is anything more fantastic and romantic than a trip to Hawaii, it would be a Hawaiian cruise! Newlyweds almost universally adored their cruise to Hawaii, citing price, the vast range of activities to enjoy aboard the cruise vessel, and romance as the best features of their Hawaiian honeymoon cruises.
2. All-inclusive tropical resorts: with prices at this kind of all-inclusive resort reaching an all time low, there is no better time than to select this destination for your honeymoon. Newlyweds we polled journeyed to resorts in Tahiti, Hawaii, Jamaica, and various Caribbean isles, and all spoke glowingly about the service, food, and range of activities offered. Newlyweds also enjoyed pre-paying for their entire vacation and never having to bring their checkbook along.
3. Florida: this vacation destination might not spring automatically to mind, but the prominent theme park properties in Florida are among the hottest honeymoon locales, offering high-class resorts, dining, activities, and fun all wrapped in to one. Our newlyweds noted that the reasonable price, package deals, and world-class dining helped inform their choice.
4. Paris: for honeymooners with a bit more to spend, why not tour romantic Paris? Several of our newlyweds gushed about how much they enjoyed the sightseeing, eating in sidewalk cafes, visiting the Eiffel tower, and touring the French countryside. Since Paris is alive with excitement night and day, active honeymooners particularly enjoyed their vacation destination.
5. Mexico: with beachside cabins going for a song, there is no better place to honeymoon than Mexico. Our newlyweds enjoyed beachside relaxation, beautiful views, the many shopping and dining possibilities, and reasonable price when they described their memorable Mexico vacations.
